Born in Nara in 1968, he entered the world of culinary after graduating from junior high school and was trained in Kansai and elsewhere. He traveled alone to Australia at age twenty-two. After retiring to Japan, he worked in a Japanese cuisine restaurant and became chef at Roanatatakami. He takes hospitality to heart.
